How to Request Deletion
To request deletion of your Unparked account and associated data, email info@unparkedapp.com from the address associated with your account (or, if you use the app anonymously, describe the device/household so we can locate your records) with the subject line "Delete my account."
You can also request deletion from within the app: open Settings and tap Delete account.
What Gets Deleted
Once we process your request, we permanently delete:
- Your account (email and hashed password, or sign-in provider link)
- Your vehicles and parked location history
- Your household membership and any household data tied only to you
- Your push notification tokens and notification preferences
If you're the last member of a household, the household record is deleted along with it. If other members remain, your account is simply removed from it.
Timing
Deleting your account from within the app is immediate. Email requests are processed within 30 days, and you'll receive a confirmation once your data has been deleted.
Retained Data
We may retain minimal records (such as anonymized crash or error logs) as required by law or for fraud prevention, for up to 90 days. This data cannot be used to identify you.
