Unparked remembers where you parked and reminds you before you need to move — for street cleaning in NYC, SF, and Chicago, or for a meter timer anywhere else.
You're on the list — we'll email you the moment Unparked launches.

How it works
Tap "I'm parked." Unparked pins your exact location. In NYC, SF, and Chicago, it also figures out the street cleaning schedule for that block and side of the street.
Get reminders on the schedule that matters to you — night before, 1 hour out, 15 minutes out, or set your own custom time (perfect for a meter that's about to expire).
If cleaning's suspended for a holiday, we'll tell you. If a film crew filed a permit on your block, we'll tell you that too. If you forgot where you parked — yeah, we've got that, anywhere in the world.
Features
Tap once when you park, get walking directions back whenever. Works anywhere — this isn't limited to our launch cities.
Night before, 1 hour out, 15 minutes out — or set a fully custom time. Tiered alerts on a schedule you control. Reliability isn't a feature here, it's the whole point.
No street cleaning coverage in your city yet? Set a custom reminder for a meter, a timed zone, or anything else with a clock on it.
Construction permits. Film shoots. Utility work. Unparked checks filed city permits near your car and flags potential no-parking conflicts before you get burned.
Everyone in your household keeps their own subscription — no shared billing. Group up to 4 people to see each other's parked cars and reminders. The only street cleaning app built with real households in mind.
Schedules come from NYC, SF, and Chicago open data APIs — not crowdsourced guesses that go stale the moment no one's watching.
No background location tracking. Location is only captured when you tap park. No account required. No ads. No data sold. Ever.

FAQ
No. Unparked has no background location tracking. You tap when you park, and the app handles reminders from there. Your battery and your privacy are safe.
Unparked uses your GPS coordinates, your phone's compass heading, and street geometry data to resolve the correct side of the street — then confirms with a quick prompt. Street cleaning schedules are side-specific, so this matters.
Unparked checks suspension status for your city automatically — snow emergencies, holidays, and more. If cleaning is called off, your reminders adjust automatically.
Free covers one vehicle and one user, with parking memory and manual schedule lookup — no push notifications. Unparked Plus ($9.99/year per person) unlocks push notifications on a schedule you choose, including custom reminder times, plus temp sign alerts and optional household grouping.
Yes. Automatic street cleaning schedules are currently limited to those three cities, but parking memory and custom reminders work anywhere. Set a timer for a meter, a timed loading zone, or anything else on a clock, and Unparked will remind you.
Each person keeps their own Unparked Plus subscription — there's no shared billing. Paid members can group with up to 4 people to see each other's parked cars and reminders in one place.
No. Unparked does not run ads, does not sell data, and does not track your location between sessions. Location is only captured when you explicitly tap park.
Automatic street cleaning schedules are available for New York City, San Francisco, and Chicago at launch, with more coming. Parking memory and custom reminders work everywhere.
